Apr. 8th, 2005 01:55 pmI suppose I shouldn't be shocked that the virus going around the office finally got me. Between the stress of a very busy workweek, the stress of a mega-dental appointment Monday, the stress of finding out at that appointment that I need a root canal on #20 before I can get it crowned, and the lack of sleep caused by intensively playing notpron, my immune system must be shot. Now I have a 102-degree fever, coughs, aches, sore throat, etc etc. I haven't eaten anything today; is there any truth to starving a fever? It's really just that I felt too shitty to prepare any food.
So, between all this it's perhaps not surprising that I haven't been commenting on things that I really meant to comment upon, but I am still (more or less) here. Except when I'm asleep, which has been about 90% of the day so far. I'm working up to actually opening the Contac package so I can beat the fever back down and fall asleep again.
