Comet McNaught, no longer visible from this far north, is still doing awesome things for the people of the Southern Hemisphere. I mean, look at those pictures.

In fact, the tail is so long and weird-looking that it actually is still visible in the Northern Hemisphere, but that sort of thing would require a very dark site to see.

I can't believe I missed this thing entirely.
