Day 3 of my increasingly erratic photodiary.

(By the way, I've barely been skimming my friends list -- I'm no doubt missing a lot. I'll try to catch up gradually when the chaos is over, but it may take some time.)

Also, I'm hurrying, so my post-processing kinda sucks.

Not a fantastic shot, but I spent much of my morning looking at this, so you shall look at it too. This is sitting in the lobby of rooms 6-10, looking into the Sails Pavilion, where registration takes place.

I went to the Farscape panel in the morning and took some photos, but I'll put those in a separate entry.

After that and the Prisoner panel, I was ready to get on my feet again for a while.

The Time Traveler's Pigeons. This was actually at Horton Plaza, where I ate lunch.

San Diego: still pretty.

They were promoting the Prisoner remake with (what else?) Rover.

The convention center lobby: still crowded.

This just cracks me up.

By "Food Court" (this was high above me on the wall, if the perspective is confusing), they mean some tables and a pretzel cart. There is no toast anywhere. LIARS.

Stargate COASTERS. There is something sort of awesome about that, in a really dorky way.

This is the exclusive My Little Pony this year. It's the same pony from different sides. I actually considered trying to get it, but the Hasbro booth is so insane I can't even attempt it.

I still do not know what this was about. They gave me a bookmark, though. I was pretty relieved when I realized he was not flipping me the bird.

The BBCA has a little shop.

This artist had a bunch of gorgeous little pendants with interesting critters on them. I covet them but they are very pricey.

I couldn't get a good picture of the sheer tide of humanity coming toward the convention center as I left in the midafternoon. You'll just have to trust me.

While waiting for the bus home, I decided this reflection on a building was very pretty.

Nice pics! What are the blue and red books in the BBCA shot?

Hmm. I'm not actually sure what those are. I skimmed their selection and found nothing of interest -- lots of DVDs and a handful of figures, besides the shirts. They could be a non-Who thing, but I'll have to look again next time I'm at the exhibit hall (probably Sunday -- I'm only going for the screenings tomorrow, and I'll probably want to head straight there when I arrive because I'm unsure of what the crowd will be like).

FYI - apparently both DT and Barrowman were wandering around SDCC today and went fairly unnoticed. O_0

It was fairly crowded to be noticing individuals, but...

RTD was on the floor too. I has current pic of DT from last night(hair is back to brown, no sideburns) if you needs. *tries not to be a stalker*

I am terrible at recognizing faces. While I would probably recognize David Tennant if I tripped over him, the rest of the world is a lost cause :).

And, yeah. Preparation for tomorrow :). I got up at 5:30 yesterday to check out the early line arrangements so we'll know where to go tomorrow, and it's just as well that I'm not going to be trying to get up at 3am totally cold. I've been sleeping like a rock all week -- the early portion because I was being very, very careful about relaxing and dimming lights and preparing for bed, the latter because I'm totally wiped out at the end of a long day. I was asleep at 9:00 last night.

I was wondering if that was Nick Briggs and Julie Gardner - the ones where you can sort of see their faces, but it's probably not a good enough photo to tell. :(

Good for you - 1. That you're sleeping! and 2. That you're getting into that line early. From what I've been reading, there's a LOT of people who will be queueing to get in.

I'm clinging to hope that the crazy fans we hear about here are the only crazy fans out there :). The lines always get big, but they don't always get big early.

It looks like Nick Briggs to me, but it's harder for me to tell whether that's Julie.

But if they brought Nick, why isn't he, I dunno, doing the panel or signing Daleks or something? :)

Let's see: if I start knitting a Dalek now, and get on a plane to San Diego later today, can I be there in time with a finished Dalek for him to autograph ...

Naoko Mori is there for TW, so.... *shrugs* Why not Nick Briggs?

Possibly Euros Lyn, too - sitting by who I *think* is Julie Gardner - a tad difficult to tell from behind, though.

I cannot stand My Little Pony, but I would make an exception for the comic book one. I especially love the punk rock mane and tail.

Wonderful photos, as always. I wonder whether that guy was cosplaying as Patrick, or was there to promote SpongeBob's 10th anniversary? Either way, it looked like a great costume.
